Heute nacht um 00:08 Uhr wurde in der englischsprachigen Wikipedia der eine millionste Artikel erstellt. Dazu gibt es auch eine (englische) Pressemitteilung der Wikimedia Foundation.

Wie bei solchen Ereignissen üblich, wollten natürlich eine Menge Autoren “ihren” neuen Artikel rechtzeitig über die Schwelle stupsen, was zu einem extrem stark ansteigendem Neue-Artikel-pro-Zeiteinheit-Verhältnis geführt hat.
